Crazy Horse on the teacher and the student

A teacher imparts knowledge to students. The interest of a student in learning about the topic being taught determines their learning capacity.

Thus, the second role of the teacher is to grow the students interest in learning.

This is done, amoungst other ways, by providing thought provoking knowledge to the students from which they can choose to explore and continue to learn more and more through application of the knowledge and subsequent introspection.

The longer a person teaches a group of students, the more they need to grow the students interest in personal exploration.

In this, the successful student will be the one who is ‘curiouser and curiouser’
